耶利米书 31:3
“古时 耶和华向 以色列 显现, 说 : 我以永远的爱爱你, 因此我以慈爱吸引你。”
He Is Not Here, He Has Risen
On that first Easter morning, a group of women walked to a tomb carrying spices to anoint a dead body. They expected to find grief, but instead they found an empty grave and two angels with the most stunning news in human history: "He is not here, He has risen."
Think about what those words meant. The disciples had watched Jesus die on a cross and had seen Him buried. Hope felt completely gone, but the angels reminded them of something important: Jesus had already told them this would happen. While He was still teaching in Galilee, He said the Son of Man would be handed over, crucified, and rise on the third day. The resurrection was not a surprise to Jesus, it was always the plan.
This is the heart of the Christian faith. Jesus did not stay in the tomb. Death could not hold Him, because He is the Son of God. His resurrection proves that everything He said about Himself is true. It proves that His sacrifice on the cross was accepted by the Father, and it promises that everyone who puts their faith in Him will one day rise too.
Sometimes we walk through seasons that feel like Friday, dark and hopeless. Maybe you are carrying something heavy right now or it could be just a fear about the future. It can feel like the stone is sealed and nothing will ever change, but Sunday always comes. The same God who raised Jesus from the dead is working in your situation, even when you cannot see it. His Word has never failed, and it will not fail you now.
Take a moment today to remember what God has already promised you. Let the empty tomb be your anchor.
He is risen, and that changes everything.
The resurrection is not merely an appendage to Christian faith; it is the very center of it.— Billy Graham
