For four centuries, heaven remained silent. Since Malachi, no prophetic voice had risen in Israel, but God had not forgotten His promises. In this 12-day study, you will follow the most extraordinary moment in human history: when the eternal Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Beginning with the promise of Immanuel in Isaiah 7:14, you will walk through the angelic announcements to Zechariah and Mary, witness the encounter between two women touched by divine miracle, and hear the prophetic songs that echo through the centuries. From the humble circumstances of a manger in Bethlehem to the proclamation to the shepherds in the fields and the revelation to Simeon and Anna in the temple, each day reveals a new dimension of God's love that was not content to observe us from afar, but chose to physically enter our history.
